When you think of decorating the house, where do you go?
That’s right! To Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, or JOANN’s. You’re crafty, yes?
Hmmm… Not so much? Are you thinking of visiting one of those already-done decoration stores? A place where you might spend hours shopping and still come home with the same thing all your neighbors have?
Well, did you know that my favorite place to shop has decorating resources? Yes, I mean Amazon. I know you did all your Santa-shopping there this year.
There are some cute things on there, like this light-up heart marquee.
Not only is it vintage, metal, and heart-shaped, it’s battery-powered and can hang from the wall.
Just picture it: “heart attack” a neighbor, spruce up the bedroom, love that porch, or plan a wall arrangement.
Your house will glow with affection.
If your sweetheart is feeling contentious, you need a sign to settle all arguments.
A painted, printed block will say, once and for all, that it loves you more.
Oh, um, that you love your sweetie more.
Maybe you’re the sort to have a bunch of cute coasters out for guests. If not, now you can be.
Guests will say, “Oh, how cute!” And actually use one under their dripping beverage.
Your tables will thank you.
Love is definitely in the air, and on this pillow.
It’s pink (a bit of a Valentine’s color, right?), and a great cotton fabric.
Don’t you “love” the design? Farmhouse style, baby.
If you’re not quite as antagonistic as that last sign idea, you’ll appreciate the sweet simplicity of this one.
“P.S.,” it whispers, “I love you.”
It’s asking nicely to hang somewhere decorative, like your entryway or front door.
I just love the rustic look of burlap, and jute ties, and white cotton.
I think I speak for humanity in saying I love bags, too. What could be in them? It’s got to be something really neat!
The great part is that you could stuff dryer lint in there, and it still piques people’s curiosity. Or, be nice and fill them with conversation hearts.
Guests coming over need somewhere to wipe their feet. That, and that spot on the porch from the kids is still there.
Throw out your ratty, cat-chewed WELCOME one, and get ahold of this heart one instead.
It’ll probably look more welcoming, even though it doesn’t clearly say so.
What about table runners? Do you like hearts?
If not, you might not find an appropriate one for February. Maybe you can find one with Lincoln’s head.
For the rest of us, there’s this cotton, red-and-white checked option.
Heart, be still! Jute, and chalkboard.
I think I’m in like!
Quick! Add a few dozen of these to your cart, and send them over my way.
Let’s not forget a lovely, versatile banner.
Also in the Farmhouse style; also using burlap and string: this is a winner for your wall.
You’ll be falling in love with Amazon, and your house décor this Valentine’s Day.
