I’ve been staring at these birthday invitations
‘Long as I can remember, knowing exactly why:
It’s Maui time!
We’re going to need a cake– more specifically, a Moana cake.
See the layer where the land meets the sea? That’s where you can add a few fondant flowers and trees.
And look at that Moana cake topper. She looks so happy on that island.
No one knows how far you’ll go for great decorations.
Don’t jump on a raft, yet; it may just be a short click away to free printables.
Or, jump in your automobile and sail to Michael’s for paper and jute or twine to make your own Moana decorations.
Kids, honestly, I could go on and on.
For now, let’s get some tissue, glue on some fronds;
Fluff it all up, and we’ve got pineapple bonds.
Oh, also I found you these leaves,
-You’re welcome-
With some flowers, to hang below your eaves.
It’s the perfect island decoration for tables, walls, or porches, too.
If you have a drink and an animal sidekick, you’re ready for this party.
You might also need fresh pineapple juice, coconut lime sparkling soda, pineapple coconut juice, ice, a skewer, bananas, fresh pineapple pieces, and a maraschino cherry or ten.
Don’t forget Pua; he loves sailing. I think.
Well, Jello hasn’t always been this glam;
Just a bleak little treat once.
Now it’s full of gummy worms and cram,
It’s all edible, baby.
I’d rather be gummy, like an ocean treat with Cool Whip. It’s a dream.
Aue, aue,
We set some donettes down,
Eating coconuts where we may sail.
Aue, aue,
Our toothpick sails won’t drown.
When the kids have had their fill,
Throw them away!
I wished I could give you the perfect treat,
And I keep coming back to these seashells, because they look so realistic –
All they need are Oreos, melted chocolate (and a silicon mold), and crumbled Golden Oreos.
That sand’s so realistic, you could fool a HeiHei.
We’ve seen Pua; what about HeiHei?
That adorable toddler-distraction needs to have a few more tail feathers after exploring the cooking fire again.
He’ll look shiny once they’re all placed, or misplaced, after this Pin the Tail on HeiHei game.
I’ve some kids who love to make a mess.
They’re ones who love to slime,
All the time.
For your kid’s friends, we’ll goop and glop and sparkle. Each will love his piece of Te Fiti.
We’ve come to the end of the day.
What’s better than returning The Heart of the Ocean and saving your tribe?
Obviously; a few cute, little murdering pirates as goodie bags!
What will they say, except, “Thank you!”
